Este vídeo, que se basa en conceptos como la ansiedad ecológica y el duelo ecológico, subraya que la sensibilidad ecológica cobra cada vez más importancia en nuestra relación con el espacio. Destaca que lo que observamos es más que un simple paisaje; encierra un significado más profundo.
Al crear este vídeo, quise explorar el significado cambiante del espacio desde una perspectiva ecológica. Puedo afirmar que esta perspectiva necesita actualizarse. Creo que es importante realizar esta actualización utilizando una técnica contemporánea. Diseñé y edité el vídeo yo mismo utilizando imágenes generadas por IA. Incluí errores técnicos en las imágenes porque se relacionan con las desconexiones en nuestra relación con el espacio y resaltan esta relación.
This video, drawing on concepts like ecological anxiety and ecological grief, emphasizes that ecological sensitivity is becoming increasingly important in our relationship with space. It highlights that what we look at is more than just a landscape; it holds deeper meaning.
While creating this video, I wanted to explore the changing meaning of space from an ecological perspective. I can say that this perspective needs an update. I believe it is important to make this update using a contemporary technique. I designed and edited the video myself using AI-generated images. The reason I included technical errors in the visuals is that they relate to the disconnections in our relationship with space and highlight this relationship.

Sobre Levent Çetin
Nacido en 1975 en Estambul, Levent Çetin estudió Cine y Televisión en la Universidad de Marmara entre 1996 y 2000. Se graduó del Máster en Cine y Televisión de la Universidad Bilgi de Estambul.
Durante sus años universitarios, comenzó a involucrarse con el cine experimental y el videoarte. Sus obras en este campo se han proyectado en numerosos festivales y exposiciones nacionales e internacionales. Trabajó como editor en varios canales de televisión. En 2014, estrenó su primer largometraje, Civilian. Ali’s Nature es su segundo largometraje, financiado por el Fondo del Ministerio de Cultura de Turquía. Ali’s Nature ha ganado 30 premios en festivales internacionales de cine. Sus vídeos se han proyectado y exhibido en numerosos festivales y exposiciones internacionales. El documental Zor Zanaat, centrado en el videoartista pionero Nil Yalter, se estrenará en 2026.
Born in 1975 in Istanbul, Levent Çetin studied Film-TV department of Marmara University between 1996 and 2000. He has graduated from Film & Television Master’s program in Istanbul Bilgi University.
He started to get involved with experimental cinema and video-art making in his university years. His works in this field were screened in many national and international festivals and exhibitions. He worked as an editor at various TV channels. He complicated his first feature film Civilian in 2014. Ali’s Nature is his second feature direct supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture Fund. Ali’s Nature won 30 awards at International Film Festivals. His videos screened/exhibited at many international film festivals and exhibition. The documentary Zor Zanaat, focusing on pioneering video artist Nil Yalter, will premiere in 2026.
