Tocar los árboles y declararles nuestro amor tiende un puente entre los humanos y la naturaleza. El lenguaje humano aporta una nueva entonación al bosque y restaura una sensación de cercanía.
Este gesto nace del temor a perder el bosque nativo y del deseo de compartir nuestros sentimientos con la naturaleza. Responde a la actitud destructiva y consumista hacia el bosque no con acusaciones, sino con apertura.
¿Qué es el amor? ¿El amor de una persona por otra, por otros seres vivos, por el mundo? Al confesar mi amor a los árboles, reflexiono sobre la esencia de este sentimiento. Repetir la misma frase revela su transformación: de una confesión tímida e insegura a un claro «Te amo».
La documentación tuvo lugar en el bosque cerca de la casa de mis padres, donde crecí. Pasé aproximadamente una hora en el bosque con mi cámara compacta hasta que se le agotó la batería, filmando sin buscar la perfección. Quería preservar la naturalidad del momento.
Touching trees and declaring one’s love for them bridges the gap between humans and nature. Human language brings a new intonation to the forest and restores a sense of closeness.
This gesture stems from a fear of losing the native forest and a desire to share our feelings with nature. It responds to the destructive and consumerist attitude towards the forest not with accusation, but with openness.
What is love? Love of one person for another, for other living beings, for the world? As I confess my love to the trees, I reflect on the essence of this feeling. Repeating the same phrase reveals its transformation: from a timid, uncertain confession to a clear “I love you.”
The documentation took place in the forest near my parents’ house, where I grew up. I spent about an hour in the forest with my compact camera until it ran out of battery, filming without striving for perfection. I wanted to preserve the naturalness of the moment.

Olga Dyakina es una artista y escritora interdisciplinaria, graduada en escuelas de fotografía y cursos de arte contemporáneo. Se centra en una visión orgánica del mundo, el pensamiento ecológico y las formas de conexión entre lo humano y lo no humano a través de la poesía de lo cotidiano, las prácticas de percepción pausada, la memoria y la experiencia sensorial. Sus principales medios de expresión son el collage, la fotografía, el texto, el vídeo y los objetos de arte. Ha participado en exposiciones en Rusia, Grecia y Estados Unidos.
Olga Dyakina is an interdisciplinary artist and writer, a graduate of photography schools and courses in contemporary art.
She concentrates on an organic worldview, ecological thinking, and forms of connectedness between the human and the non-human through the poetry of everydayness, practices of slow perception, memory, and sensory experience. Her dominant mediums are collage, photography, text, video, and art objects. Participant in exhibitions in Russia, Greece and America.
